I have spent threedays and several hours trying to get the Windows defender
to automatic scan. I have abled my Internet security program. Check the
schedule task, it is in scheduler andthe schedule is on but WSD never runs

This program was released too early and is a piece of junk.

I do noth have the time or care to be an unpay debugger for MS

Sorry

It is scanning in background. If you launch Windows Defender, it should
tell you when was the last scan done.

The scanning is not like MS Antispyware we saw earlier.

Only three days (Oh, and several hours)? Patience dear person! If you are to
be well seasoned in BETA testing you must spend not only days but months,
even years evaluating Who was it that once said? "Rome wasn`t built in a
day". Neither was WD. Imagine the disappointment of the developers who spend
tireless hours coding it to be told: Its a load of crapola and you ain`t
using it anymore Question is: Will you be using (for free) once everything
has been straightened out?

Let me ask you a question. Did MS Antispyware by Giant ever find anything?

Hi there, it's very simple. Schedule Defender and open Defender on the
scheduled time and you'll see that it is running. MSAS had a pop-up screen
when scheduled scanning (liked it better), Defender has not. Jan vdn eeden -
