I need to play a .wma file on my page and then pause and play a second song.
I can make them both play at the same time which is no good. I am looking for
the code that allows me to play one then the other on the same page. Can
this be done is Front Page 2003. I am new to this discussion group. Thanks,
Mushu

Welcome to the group.

In answering your question I don't know if it can be done in the way you
want; could you use a music editor and merge the two files together, into
one "song"? Effectively it will be the two tracks in one and repeatedly play
if you have the repeat setting on in the bgsound tag. Bgsound will only
work in IE. You'll need to use the Netscape/other browser equivalent as
well if you want music playing across all browsers. ("<embed>" I think, is
the tag.).

There might be another way, to insert a media player plugin where you can
make a "playlist" and effectively control the player like any other, choose
the track(s) and have them repeat, play once or whatever.

Anyway, it's advisable (good "netiquette") to let the user decide to play
the music. The issue of background music is a popular item on this group.
