Back button is disabled when page size is increased

I have got a problem with IE6 history clearing
On my application it loads records from database.
If I retrieve more records (when that time Page size around 1.55mMB) and
then go to another page from a link in that page and when coming back again
all history of page gets cleared .(Back button is disabled)
But that is working fine with if page size is less than 1.33MB
Is any matter with page size for keep in history?
