Well, looks like I might be back with ATI again...

My last ATI card (9600SE) which I bought to replace a crummy MX200 hardly
set the world on fire. I managed to swap it for a Geforce Ti4600- nice
enough, but really missing some DX9.0 effects (and DX2 runs at a crawl). So
i've picked up a 9500 non-pro (yes, the red one with the L-configured
memory) and hope to successfully softmod it to a 9700. I haven't sold my
Ti4600 yet (just in case the softmod doesn't work).

How exactly do I softmod the 9500? I know of the modified Catalysts, but is
there another way (ATI Tool, Powerstrip etc.)?

The easiest way is to simply install the Omega drivers...
