I totally agree and hope it gets added to the Pricelessware list.
However, it really could use a small help file. One needs to know that
you have to select a character before copying it. Also, it has the
same limitations as Character Map regarding copying characters into
notepad and other text based programs. It's main advantate is that
older far sighted people like me will appreciate it's larger
presentation of the character list.

As for BabelMap is a good program, but it's not really a Character Map
replacement because it does so much more and thus might be confusing
to the average user. For instance, the default startup lists numerous
fonts I don't have on my system. To only list fonts on one's system,
you have to go into options and decheck "Filter Out Non-Unicode Fonts".
I think Map of Chars is more to my liking since my needs are simple.
