I Capture from VHS from the Camcorder and get only Black and White footage and if I try from a VCR, I get only a garbled and frozen color picture. Can anyone help? I have tried different settings and nothing works.

Does the digital cam have analogue input? If so you could use that as a pass
through, using windows capture software and hoepfull it'll be in colour and
in sync with sound!
See www.papajohn.org and search for pass through for more detailed help.

and have no trouble with digital, but my analog (VHS-C) : I can't get the
video and sound to match up, so I tried with the Movie Maker 2 and it works
except that it makes it Black and white. I connect from the vcr or cam with
an audio/video cable.

My digital has no analogue input. From what I can find, it won't be possible until I get a better digital, which when I do that , will probably use digital solely anyway. Thanks for the help though. Now I now.
