Axis labels offset from grid line

I found a thread that answers a question similar to mine but doesn't provide quite the solution I'm looking for.

I want to have the axis labels on my chart offset from their value on the grid line. In other words, if my x-axis scale is from 1 to 5, I want the 1 to show between 0 and 1, the 2 between 1 and 2 and so forth.

I have attached a picture showing the chart.
