KKopy - Neat free tool which avoids the frustrating scrolling off the
window when trying to highlight text that you want to cut and paste.

Whole paragraphs and sections of text with a single click can be
copied or cut.

Excellent if you are selectively taking information from documents.

Why is it people can't write HTML that works in standard browsers not
JUST IE! This site fails in Mozilla on my PC. Also, the example took
so long to open I just gave up. I do wonder what this program is
meant to do though. AFAIK you double click the margin to select a
paragraph - why do I need a tool to do this?

While I am venting my spleen my other hate is site with Java. Perhaps
it does have a use but umpteen k to scroll some text is not it!

Oh, come on. This site isn't so bad. Only 20 errors. Well, *after* I
tell the validator what doctype and encoding to use. But *still*.

Now, *this* is indeed a good question. Who forgot to teach the poor
Word users of default behaviour? Or has the latest versions of Word,
uhm, undefaulted this? Wouldn't surprise me, really.

Well, it *does* have the function of pointing out that this so-called
web page has been done using some incarnation of FrontPage, even if the
author has removed the META element explicitly stating this.

Oh, and Malcom dear, would you do me a favour of unbreaking your
quoting habits, so I don't have to killfile you for the next three
months? Default behaviour in Agent is, AFAIK, to do it correctly. You
have to admit, it looks a bit silly with your text all the way up
there, and then the quoted bits, and *then* your signature.

Ok, done now. Time for breakfast. Thanks for reading.

I take it you mean top posting. Well, I wasn't really commenting on
the post so it didn't seem appropriate below. I really only left the
original in so others would know what I was talking about.

In the past I would have sig'ed it at the end of my text but then
someone else nit-picked that my name should be below the -- so it gets
deleted. So ever eager to please it seems I now make someone else
unhappy :-(.
