Thanks.
Question about the program hopefully someone can answer.
When I enable the protection and minimize the window to the taskbar a
message box says it's safe to close the program. However, when I do exit,
Spyblaster doesn't appear to be running in the background. Should I
continue to keep it minimized in the taskbar?

Win98
Firefox 1.0

It runs perfectly fine in the background without needing to minimize it to
the taskbar. Are you saying you checked the resources/processes and did not
see any trace of it there?

Javacool's SpywareBlaster sets a "kill bit" in the registry for the
malware, therefore SpywareBlaster doesn't need to be kept running on
the background.

Go to http://www.javacoolsoftware.com you can read about the way this
program works. You also could go to the forums at wilderssecurity.

I understand now and thanks for the link. I'll pay more attention to the
updates now that I know the program is actually running!
