When I start the classic search tool with a file pattern
then the search investigates the content of *.zip and *.rar archives as well.

How can I disable the search in such archives?

You would have to unregister the dll that enables zip folders.
regsvr32 /u zipfldr.dll

to regain zip folders

regsvr32 /i zipfldr.dll
