How can I avoid the "precondition failed" message when sending an e-mail?

I suppose you could not send e-mail. :-)

If you'd like a more specific answer you'll need to give us some more
information. For starters what version of Outlook you're using, what
e-mail service you're using, what operating system you're running on
(Vista? XP Pro?), maybe when this problem began...
