Avira - how to scan manually

Please excuse me as just installed the above and cant get into their forum to
ask this question. So if someone is using this Avira (free edition) may I ask
how do I use this Avira and how can I set it to scan specific folders? Thanks

Does it have a "Help" area????

Most programs, if you have them open and press F-1 key, you get into "Help"
for that program, did you try that?

The date and time was 3/17/2008 10:06 PM, and on a whim, orange2310
pounded out on the keyboard:

Right click on the red icon in the System Tray and select "Start AntiVir".

Click the Scanner tab. In the window, click on what you want to scan.
The ones showing are pre-defined. Use Manual Selection for specific
folders. Then click the Magnifier icon above the window to start the scan.
