Free limited version of a professional video editing program.
Only works on WinXP & recent MacOSX.

Differences with the payware version:

Great download. It's like a semi-pro version of Windows Movie Maker

Great download ? Why ? It looks like over 90% of the functions don't
work in the free version. Isn't Windows Movie Maker at :

http://www.microsoft.com/windowsXP/m...oviemaker2.asp

free ? If so then what does the avid program do IN THE FREEWARE
EDITION that the MS program doesn't do ?

Regards, John.

and it seems the functions that do work, don't. it seems to only want to
import quicktime movies, rather than standard AVI or whatever. so when i
try importing a quicktime file it says it needs to resample the audio, and
while doing that generates an error (therefore not finishing the
resampling). nice first impressions :-\
