I have recently produced a video in Windows Movie Maker using imported .avi
video clips from my Samsung Digimax A50 camera. The .avi video clips work
very well in my Windows Media Player Version11.0, but as soon as I try and
play the published version from Windows Movie Maker. The aspect ration is
wrong, displaying wide screen, instead of standard, with the bottom half of
the screen beeing green. Does anyone have a cure !!

You need to convert your avi files to something useable by MM first.
Your camera records in mpeg4 format, so google a converter for this to wmv.
There may be some listed here
