I had the same problem with my Dell. They have something called "cinema
mode" which plays any video full screen. You can disable it. The method
varies with the computer model. Check with Dell support. For my model:
Clone Mode Options offers three types of Overlay Display Mode:
Standard – which allows for video content to be displayed on your Primary
display only.
Theater Mode – which allows for video content to be displayed on your
Primary and Secondary displays, with the Secondary display showing the
video content
in full screen.
Same on all – which allows for video content to be displayed on your
Primary and Secondary displays in exactly the same manner.
Click the ATI "Overlay" tab, then "Theatre Mode Options" then "Same on all".
