Hi
I have onboard audio AVI AC'97 Audio Controller (WDM)
driver. My motherboard is an ECS K7VZA.
The sound has stopped working its is still enabled in the
BIOS and I have installed the latest drivers from both
Microsoft and the VIA site.
In device manager all the audio devices are enabled but
drilling down in the properties I get the message
"Status: Driver is enabled but has not been started"
No Audio devices show up in the Audio controllers section
of the control panel but can be see in device manager.
I have confirmed that there doesn't seem to be an IRQ
conflict and that they are enabled in he BIOS - I have no
idea what to do next.
Can anyone help??
