Updated to vb: 265.7.4 1/25/05
Tried to scan a small file(by: Rt clk/scan with AVG) and got:

AVGW caused a general protection fault
in module GDI.EXE at 0026:000013ac.

Anyone else have/had this problem?

Not with Avast.
Ditch crappy AVG7

Works fine here.

Updated AVG7 free today: vb:265.8.1, 1/27/05, 1426.6kb
This may have no bearing, but my on-demand-virus scanning
problem is gone...FIXED
