Can anyone help me defeat the WIN32/Parite virus. I detected and deleted the
file named C:\WINNT|system32\psexec.exe but the AVG software keeps detecting
the file. Also there are several files that I can't delete like
C:\WINNT\system32\HPZipm12.exe and C:\WINNT\system32\HPZinw12.exe

Are you using Windows ME? If so, what you want to do is disable your system
restore, reboot, then re-enable it. That should clear out whatever infected
file Windows keeps restoring.

Can you use your boot up floppy disk - go into DOS - and delete them
from there?

You probably will not be able to delete them while Windows is running.
