AVG Wakeup From Hibernate?

System is PC with XP Home SP3 and AVG 8.0.173 with 'Start Automatic
Updates' checked. I normally put my PC into HIBERNATE state when I am
not using it. I have an "always on" internet connection.

Can anyone answer this simple question? What happens when AVG's Update
Manager attempts an update when the PC is in HIBERNATE state?

Will AVG automatically trigger a PC wakeup to do the update?
If AVG does trigger a wakeup and completes the download and update;
does AVG return the PC to HIBERNATE state?

Sometime after I upgraded to XP SP3 and AVG 8.0.173, my PC has been
turning on mysteriously and staying on. This never happened before.

When trying to understand applications with 'automatic features', very
rarely does the documentation say what happens when the feature
activates, and the PC is not actually turned on. AVG's 'Start
Automatic Updates' in one such feature.

Can anyone answer this? This is always confusing.

I need the exact same question answered. Except I need to know if the
computer is set in hibernate will AVG run an update and download and
do a scan at the set time daily? That was alot. Thanks.
