Hi CUZZ; at last you are getting the hang of it.
AVG is not the best anti-virus(free or otherwise)
It has a bad fault in that it can only clean files that are infected.
A Trojan is different to a Virus; it is a complete imitation program.
1.
http://www.avast.com/eng/download-avast-home.html
Download and save the above Avast anti-virus to your desktop; do NOT let it
run from the website.
Uninstall the AVG through control Panel> uninstall programs.
Double click on the Avast file on your desktop, install it, update it; just
follow the instructions.
2.
http://www.spybot.info/en/index.html
Download and save to the desktop; double click to install, and update.
This program finds and removes your spyware and adware crap.
3. Scan your computer with each program, but ONLY one program scanning at a
time. Follow instructions to delet the problems.
If either program can not delete an infection, reboot the computer, and
right at the start of powering on, hit F8. Keep tapping it until results.
Go into Safe Mode using the up and down keys to get there, hit "enter", and
scan your computer again.
