AVG Modification possible...?

Howdy,

I have used Norton AV for years but find the ethics of
Symantec to be, well, lacking.

I am now running the trial version of AVG.

With NAV I could make a modification that allowed systems to
communicate with one another on our net using DCOM.

AVG now rejects those communication attempts.

In NAV there was a way to tell the program (in effect) "If
the request comes from systems with IP addresses within this
range, let 'em through.

Is there a way to do the same with AVG?
