I was recently trying to free up space for my hard-drive, I apparently removed part of the anti-virus part of Xp and now when I first sign on and everything comes up it tells me that AVG language has failed and give me the option to either close the window out or to click on okay I am thinking the only way to correct it is to re-install the OP. If anyone can give me a clue on how to restore it without reinstalling everything , it would be deeply apprecciated. Thanks Much!!!!!!!!! Pearlgarden

Hi Pearlgarden

XP hasn't got any anti-virus software incorporated in it. If the error
message concerns AVG try uninstalling/reinstalling AVG. You will be able to
uninstall AVG via Control Panel>Add/Remove Programs.

Forgot - AVG is a standalone anti-virus program that may have been installed
by your PC supplier. If you haven't got a copy to reinstall, you can
download the free version from www.grisoft.com
