AVG free vs AVG pay. Winamp update

What's the diff between the free and pay version of AVG?

Apparently to update Winamp, one replaces the old one and installs the
new one. I'm working with the freebie.

In a nutshell, don't touch AVG, even the free one, unless you want a
bloatware and constant pop ups when an update is released.

I would think there would be a adware or something available to know
down pop-ups. I think I may have it. What about MS Security Essentials?

I like MS Sec Essentials and Avira.

What has AVG got to do with Winamp?
