Hi all,

For the last week or so, AVG Anti-Virus has been detecting 'Trojan horse
Sheur.DFF in Google updater exe'. There's not much information available,
but someone from Google is reassuring people that this is a false positive.

Here's a couple of links where this is discussed:
http://groups.google.com/group/micro...30d8660f67af3a
and

also
those of you who have logmein on your computer might find AVG come up and
say there is a Virus in c:/windows/system32/LMImirr.dll'

or c:/Program files/logmein/x86/LMImirr.dll

I have sent these 2 files to AVG and when I get a result back I will tell
what they said.

I have 15 clients on logmein.com and all of them are seeing this. they are
all using the free avg version. I have logmein.com and I have the pro
version but i am not seeing this at all. and I have the same 2 files

Hi Robin,

I'm still getting the real-time alerts this morning, even though I have the
latest -- as of 8/7/07 -- virus database version 269.11.8/941. Can you
please post a link to where AVG said they were doing an update to fix it?

Thank you.

Alan
