| AVG 8 attaches a text file to all my emails which states:
|
|
| No virus found in this incoming message.
| Checked by AVG.
| Version: 8.0.100 / Virus Database: 269.24.6/1481 - Release Date:
| 6/3/20
|
|
| I'd much rather this message appear inside the email rather than as an
| attachment. The way it is now, every email has an attachment, and
| therefore I can't sort by emails that have real attachments - files I
| actually need & want.
|
| Anyone know how to fix this behavior? I'm not sure if it's AVG
| itself, or if it's Outlook 2000, as I just reinstalled Outlook too,
| and may not have it configured the same way I used to.
|
| Thank you in advance for any help

If your Outlook is up to date, bin the avg e-mail scan,it's not needed.
(The avg resident shield should kick in if you get sloppy with opening
attachments)
