Where do I go to change the effects of my sound card? Do
I go to the control panel or somewhere else? Can someone
tell me the step by step of where to go? I need to turn
off environmental effects.

Environmental effects are part of the the makers drivers package. Try
contacting Avatec for instructions on how turn them off or uninstall them.
Windows XP doesnt include any "environmental effects"
