Avast antivirus as not yet classified

After various afterthoughts, I have passed from Norton Antivirus 2005 to
Avast antivirus: I hope that has been a correct choice.
There apparently are not conflicts with Defender.
Nevertheless, oddly, all the Avast processes appear as not yet classified in
"Software Explorer"!

I haven't run Avast for a while, but I wouldn't worry about that appearance,
as long as your source for the code seems reliable. Antivirus vendors
update code frequently.

The problem is that Windows Defender asks for comfirmation over and
over for lots of application (even after you say that they are OK).

I've heard this reported, but haven't seen it first hand. My impression is
that these reports involve apps which do, in fact, change each time they are
started.
