I've asked Avast why I'm seeing false alarms against many
folder.htt files. I stopped the scan after several were
detected as containing malware script. Has anyone else seen
this with the latest definitions, 308-2?

Yes, I'm getting the same as well. I have also just downloaded the latest
version of WinRAR from www.rarlabs.com and its detecting a W32:Trojan-gen in
the archive which seems unlikely so I suspect this is also a false positive.

Thanks for the confirmation Richard, and I get the same msg on
ZIP.SFX within the Winrar.exe. :-)
I'm surprised they haven't issued a new def file. I advised them
ASAP so maybe soon.

Hello,
It's really our false alarm. I try to repair it in next version.
Best regards Cernik
