Avast 4.6 Server Edition and 4.7 Home Edition Internet Shield does NOT work
on both Windows Vista Client X64 Beta 2 and Windows Server Code Name Long
Horn X64 Beta 2.

My Dell XPS 600 is running X64 Windows Vista Beta 2 with Avast 4.7 Home
Edition

My Dell Dimension 8400 is running X64 Windows Server Code Name Long Horn
Beta 2 with Avast 4.6 Server Edition.

The Internet Shield is NOT working on either computer, just FYI.

I never use the Internet Shield in Avast...it's just way too slow. The
Standard Shield is the only provider that I run. It's that sensitive that
it picks up anything untoward that ends up in temp folders whilst browsing.

Silly question but......you did remember to add the providers during or
after setup? First time I installed Avast I forgot to add the providers

Update: I found my answer in the Windows Vista Security Public Newsgroup:
There is no Anti-Virus Software that will Actively Monitor X64 Beta 2 at
this time, just FYI.
