Has anyone tried to update the ultra 100 BIOS to Version 2.20.14 from the
promise website? The Asus latest version only updates the Ultra 100 BIOS to
2.01.0 Build 43.

I'm really not impressed with my ATA100 - measures the same as my ATA66
using sandra 2003.

For that matter, what drivers are good to use under Windows 2000 for the
ultra100 controller? The last time I tried (several months ago, with
what at the time were the latest available drivers) caused me so much
grief due to drivers that I gave up on it and currently I have all my
IDE devices hanging off the UDMA/66 controller.

I'll be re-installing win2000 soon (unrelated problem) and I may as well
try the ultra100 controller again.

Actually I'm using Win XP, but I hear ya!
