This seems a strange place to be sticking a new key:

HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Autumn Hill\CPM

CPM has 3 string values, (Default), Install Time, and Last CPM Time.

I don't recall installing "Autumn Hill" software. What is it?

Thanks,
nf

If Steve's suggestion brings no joy, Google for "Autumn Hill" and scan
the many hits to perhaps trigger a memory.

That seems a likely possibility. But...under "Microsoft\Windows" key? Not,
IMHO, an appropriate place for a 3rd-party tool, unless installed with
Microsoft software. But there's no reference on the MS site.

The Autumn Hill Software company apparently does not have a public website,
nor can I find an email address. Very odd.

Thanks,
nf

Well, I'm not going through 46,000+ responses, but I did Google more
specifically before posting here. No joy. Another person questioned the
"Autumn Hill" registry key on a Win98 newsgroup back in 1999. I tried
translating the German with Babelfish but it seems no one had an answer back
then, either.

Thinking this must've been there for a while and I just didn't notice it, I
searched some older graphical program folders for files containing "autumn",
hoping to find a copyright. No joy there, either.

Thanks,
nf
