Hi =?Utf-8?B?U2hhcm9u?=,
Well, there is a way in Word to categorize AutoText entries: by applying a
particular style to each that should be in the same category. I'm not sure,
though, whether this approach would be appropriate for your purpose :-)
I'd be more inclined to try something like this:
1. Create a separate template to carry the AutoText entries
2. Use the AutoText name to put them in categories (the first or last
couple of letters, for example)
3. In the actual working template, use the button for choosing the category
to copy (VBA, using the OrganizerCopy command) the desired set of AutoText
entries to the working template
There are all kinds of possible variations on this theme, but they would
all depend on using a specific combination of characters in the name for
identifying the set of AutoText entries. For example, you could dynamically
assign the AutoText entries (all in the main template) to the toolbar
buttons.
In any case, you'll almost certainly need a macro behind the scenes doing
the work.

of user guide. The users can choose which set of graphics suits their topic
providing they *stay within the set* (i.e. they can't mix and match). I
have saved the first set of graphics as AutoText entries and have
associated them with a toolbar attached to a template. How can I add other
sets of graphics but keep them separated from the first set? Can I have
groups (categories) on the AutoText menu? Can I have several AutoText
buttons on my toolbar that point to different locations?

to go about this?
