autotext autocorrect issues in outlook 2007

Word 2007 is using normal.dotm to store autotext and formatted autocorrect
entries.
Outlook 2007 is using NormalEmail.dotm for the same reason.

When you create a formatted autocorrect entry in word you have to repeat the
process in outlook if you want to use it there too!!!!! And vice versa!!!!
Is there any other way to deal with this and enter an entry only once in
word and use it also in outlook and vice versa? And I do not mean to go every
time and rename the files.
Or I need to wait till the guys in Microsoft realize that it was a huge
mistake to remove the option to use word as email editor and restore it???
