Autostart a batch file

I was able to successfully autostart a batch file using the explorer
shell and a registry key for
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
using the value cmd.exe /K "c:\windows\system32\mybatchfile.bat"

This will work for me but I'm still wondering why I could not get this
working under the command shell.

Any ideas.

Thanks very much for you previous suggestions. I sure appreciate them.
Regards,

Rick Eis

I've been off sick so I haven't had time to look at this -
moving house with a pulled muscle in your chest is *not*
fun. I'd be interested to know what happens if you include
my network setup component in your build...
