FP2003. Autoshapes are dimmed out in all situations I have tried, and I am
not sure what process I use to "turn" them on. Any ideas out there? I can
make an autoshape in Word and copy/paste it to FP, but would like to use this
feature within the app.
Thanks

Choose Tools, Page Options, Authoring, then select all the check boxes and
set the drop-down lists to Custom, Custom, IE5.

You should know, however, that there are serious problems using Autoshapes
with any browser other than IE. Refer to:

Good advice. Excellent website you have. Thanks. I've bookmarked it and
passed it on to my friends.
