Is it possible to do an autostart on a USB stick similar to a CD? Is the
presence of autorun.inf enough... so far I can't get it to work. I tried
including the name of an exe in the CD root, and I included the name of
a VB3 program and had the program along with the VB3 runtime in the
root, but neither worked, whether the autoplay feature was selected or not.

Is there any way to get a USB to run a program whenever it is plugged
into any system?

Though having had my computer messed-up by an autorun CD a few years back, I
still reckon you're better off without this. Main issue is that you never
know exactly WHEN the autorun will happen, and if it happens when you're
finsihed with the CD/Flashdrive and resumed typing, then it will take your
input as being setup-instructions!

1. Yes, see

2. No. Not if the system is configured to prevent it.
