Autorecover - Cannot save while the file is in use by another proc

I get this error whenever Autosave trys to run on a particular set of
documents. IE it doesn't do this for all Word docs but for one document and
all the draft versions.

The suggested solutions are:
1. Save the file by using a different file name.
2. Close the other application that has the lock on the file.
3. Wait until the other user closes the application that has a lock on your
file.

I have tried saving with different filenames (hence the previous draft
versions)
There is only 1 WINWORD>EXE process running, and the only other Office
application is Outlook.
No other users are logged onto my machine, never mind actually viewing this
document.

So I can't figure out whats going on. I could just ignore the error and turn
off Autorecover, but I use the feature.

Can anyone suggest anything?
Cheers

Autorecover cannot save while the file is in use by another process

I'm unashamedly replying to my own post to try to bump it back up as I'm
hoping someone can help please. The help file advises

"Depending on your situation, your options are:
Save the file by using a different file name.
Close the other application that has the lock on the file.
Wait until the other user closes the application that has a lock on your
file."

I have checked the Autorecover directory and there are no existing copies of
autorecover files.
There are no other users
I can't see any other applications that might be using/accessing the file,
and normal saves work fine.

Gurus please?
