I am trying to install The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion to my PC. I insert the
disc and autoplay starts up but says its installing HP Boot Optimizer and
will not install Oblivion. I have uninstalled the DVD drivers and rebooted,
issue still occurs. I have ran the auto play fix wizard says their is an
issue but it can't fix it. Any Help would be appreciated.

Press the Shift key when you insert the DVD, and the autoplay might not
start up. Then explore the DVD for an Install, or Setup program.

Right-click the .inf file and click Open With, Wordpad. You can then
look through the file and see what it does, but I doubt you can get
anything from it.

Is there an Autorun.ini file? Read this and it will point to the startup
program. Chances are it will point to a launcher and not the setup program
itself. I assume you looked through all of the directories on the DVD, and
have hidden files shown.

Yes it points to a launcher, I looked at the dvd with hidden files show, for
some reason there is only one file shown. I don't know what they did with
the other files so we can't see them.
