Automation C++ code works for Excel 2003, not for Excel 2007

I'd some code in C++ that reads and writes some cells in a Excel sheet, but
when it has to retrieve the data from an active sheet from an Excel 2007, it
doesn't work, the program does nothing. Is there something to be solved
without re-code the program for using with Excel 2007?
