PowerPoint allows you to set timings for going through the slide show.
Select "Slide Show" | "Slide Transition..." menu item. Look at "Advance
slide", "Automatically after" box.
For looping, select "Slide Show" | "Set Up Show..." menu item, check "Loop
continuously until 'Esc'" box.
