Automating powerpoint charts

Hi

Can anyone give me a simple yes or no as to whether a chart and its
data can be fully manipulated in Powerpoint using VB?

I know the charts are created using MSGraph but I've not found much
beyond the basics that you can do with that via Powerpoint. I want to
create a new chart and populate it with data from a recordset and
format it. Would it be better to use Word or Excel to create them
instead and copy them over?

Thanks for any help

Daryl,
Yes you can do this in Graph, but you'd likely be better off using
Excel for a wide variety of reasons e.g. more support available. more
robust object model. just plain better etc.
