Automating Excel Visual Basic to Schedule Outlook Events

Any ideas on how to schedule an MS Outlook event from an Excel Visual
Basic application? (Some calculations trigger events that must occur at
a certain time or date. The function seems natural, but I can't find a
reference to how to do it.)

Any thoughts are appreciated.
