I would like FrontPage to send automatically an email to
the person who clicks on the Submit button after filling
in an online form.

I found out that there is an option called Parameters in
the hyperlink properties of the Submit button and thought
that perhaps if I insert the right query string this
option could perform the function I need but I have no
idea of how to program this query string.

Is it the right function for sending an acknowledgement
email?
If so, where can I find how to program the query string
If not, how can I perform this function, please?

In addition to this, I would like also FrontPage to
automatically email a documentation to the email address
filled in on the online form when a box is clicked on.

No possible w/ the FP forms handler
(unless you know and can use Server side scripting (ASP/PHP/Perl)

Check your host to see if they support an autoresponder

Hi Ah,

Sorry but FP's email component does not have that functionality. You may wish to check out SEND IT! which can do this with templated
email message etc. http://www.websunlimited.com/sendit/sendit.htm

Thank you for your reply.

I shall aks my host about the autoresponder but I would
like to also automatically email a documentation when a
box is ticked.

Where can I learn how to use Server side scripting
(ASP/PHP/Perl)?
