I am using notebook on the move and configure to get the ips from DHCP
server. The computer remembers the previously obtained ips when I move from
one network to another. Can someone tell me how to release and renew the
ips obtained automatically from DHCP.

Thanks,

Ray

In a command prompt, type ipconfig /release and then ipconfig /renew. Or
reboot the computer.
