In "Taskbar and Start Menu properties/Start Menu/Customize" it gives
you the option to "Expand Control Panel", "Expand My Documents",
"Expand My Pictures", etc, but what I want to do is have one of the
items I have added myself to the main start menu to "expand" in the
same way. However, it does not give me the option to do this. Does
anyone know how I can do it?
Thanks a lot.

Clue might be "you can replace items displayed in the other sections",
according to this page. (Doesn't show how to, though.)

http://forum.osnn.net/showthread.php?t=419

Items on the lower right - "Help and Support", "Search", "Run..." appear to
be "links" only.
All "expandable", or "Display as a Menu" types are in a separate section of
the Start menu.
Maybe you could "replace" an item in an upper section. Let us know if you
figure it out.

Line 2, right side, this page, there is a VBS from Kelly that you can use to
replace either My Pictures, or My Music with a folder of your choice.
