Downloading the latest automatic updates is stopping at 57 percent complete.
It has been like this for 3 days. How do I get it to continue downloading.

There is a newsgroup dedicate to problems with updates where you may also
want to post in called Microsoft.public.windowsupdate. Offhand I would make
sure your hard drive has enough room for the updates and try downloading
just one or a few at a time to try and isolate if the problem is with a
particular update. If the updates have actually started to install [versus
just downloading] you may find information for the updates in your \windows
folder that includes the windowsupdate.log. --- Steve
