Automatic updates not complete

I am behind an ISA firewall and in an AD network domain. When I start the
automatic updates, through IE 6.0, for my client XP Pro SP2 machines, it
stays there for ever (hours and maybe days) without doing anything. Any
suggestion?

2. You cannot install some updates or programs

3a. Check Windowsupdate.log (%windir%\Windowsupdate.log) for errors
associated with the download/install.

3b. Compare errors to those listed here:
