Hi all.

I seem to have an update that just won't install. The update in question is
"Security Update for Microsoft .NET Framework, Version 1.1 Service Pack 1
(KB928366)"

After reinstalling my PC last week this one just keeps bothering me. When I
shut down the PC at night it's there. When I boot in the morning it's there
too, in the notification area. It tell it to install, reboot, and it's there
again. Manually installing it from the Windows Updates site doesn't help
either.

How can I get this update back on the right track?

Thanks,

Erik

That doesn't work, unfortunately. I can run the program, but after a few
seconds it obviously quits, without any notification...

1. Write down the .NET Framework versions which are already installed:

How to determine which versions of the .NET Framework are installed and
whether service packs have been applied
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/318785

2. Now see Resolutions Methods 1 or 2 in
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/923100 (ignore the title).
