I have my new Microsoft antispy program set for automatic
update and automatic scan. I have gone back to the help
(F1) and I have it set up correctly and I do NOT have the
disable spot checked. Still it doesn't happen.

Could it be 1. My Zone Alarm Security Suite interfering?
2. I use Firefox as my browser-not IE?

Or any other ideas for me. Thanks, Marylou

Microsoft Antispyware requires IE, mozilla firefox is not
supported.

This is not correct.

Microsoft antispyware can be downloaded, installed, and used, on a machine
whose owner customarily uses only Firefox.

There are IE specific protections that (may) not be invoked on such a
machine, but that's beside the point.

I suspect it would not in its current release not to require IE, since its
still using GIANTS code and I don't think they were that much like Microsoft
products in terms of integration.
