If I connect a hyperlink to a Nav Bar item, is there some kind of HTML code I
can employ to AUTOMATICALLY sign in the visitor to my website? I would use
my username and password for this. It's basically public information and
there is no need to worry about visitors messing up my account.

No.

However if it is public info, then would a login be required?

It just puts public information into a different formatting.
